The Indonesian Bonded Logistics Center Association (PPLBI) collaborated with the Directorate of Customs Facilities, Directorate of Customs and Excise Information, Jakarta Regional Office, and Marunda Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC Marunda) to hold a Leader's Talk event. PPLBI Chairperson Utami Prasetiawati stated that this program will become PPLBI's regular event as a discussion forum between PPLBI members and policy makers, hoping that PLB/PDPLB operators can fulfill their mandate and grow further.

The event was held virtually (via Zoom) with approximately 75 participants and featured the following speakers:

  1. Mr. Untung Basuki – As Director of Customs Facilities at DJBC RI
  2. Mr. Rusman Hadi – As Head of Jakarta Regional Office
  3. Mr. Muhtadi – Head of Marunda Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC Marunda)
  4. Mrs. Untari – Directorate of Customs and Excise Information (Directorate IKC)

During the event, Mr. Untung Basuki emphasized that logistics plays a crucial role in Indonesia's economic growth, noting that business optimism must be maintained and existing opportunities should be utilized. PLB/PDPLB operators must maintain compliance in both administration and inventory management, and are encouraged to utilize the National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE).

Mr. Rusman Hadi expressed hopes that the Leader's Talk could accelerate field-level solutions, urging members to report on-field occurrences to foster harmonious cooperation between Customs as service providers and service users.

Mr. Muhtadi stated that developing exemplary PLBs is essential to strengthen national logistics chains, presenting monitoring and evaluation results of PLB/PDPLB under KPPBC Marunda's supervision.

Mrs. Untari from Directorate IKC presented material on e-seal developments, announcing that IKC has developed an e-seal application with visualization capabilities.

After presentations from all four speakers, a Q&A session allowed members to engage with representatives from the Directorate of Customs Facilities, Directorate IKC, Jakarta Regional Office, and KPPBC Marunda. PPLBI members actively participated, while Customs officials provided responses, suggestions, and guidance regarding members' questions and concerns.

Feedback questionnaires showed members felt the speakers and content met expectations, with clear material delivery. It's hoped these insights provide valuable enlightenment for all PPLBI members. Event summaries and materials are available on PPLBI's website.
