Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani requested that Bonded Logistics Centers (PLB) remain clean facilities. This means these areas should not be used as conduits for smuggling.
Sri Mulyani stated that maintaining clean operations would foster good relationships between the government and businesses.
"Please keep the PLB as a clean and credible institution so we can happily serve you. Don't let PLBs become smuggling hubs," she said during the one-year anniversary event of the Bonded Logistics Center program at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC), Jakarta, Wednesday (12/4/2017).
Sri Mulyani emphasized that a good and prosperous nation can be created through cooperative relationships between all parties, especially when maintaining transparency commitments.
"Indonesia will be a good, strong, large, and collectively prosperous nation - not just prosperous for a handful. This is achievable if we all - government, private sector - commit to working transparently," she asserted.
Additionally, she urged businesses to report any poor service received from government agencies.
"If we fail to serve you properly, if we create burdens or difficulties, please report it to us," she concluded.
